Men Yeast Infection Symptoms

PainWorried that you may have a penile yeast infection?

Here are some of the physical symptoms and some things you should check before you completely dismiss the possibility that you have a yeast infection.

Note: Symptoms do not come in any particular combination, so if you have just any one of these, the possiblity is open.

Irritation on the head of the penis

This is the most common symptom, but it’s one of the most agonizing. There have been cases of severe itching to the point where the victim just ‘wished it would drop off'.

Sores on the foreskin and/or head of the penis

Painful and ugly. You wouldn’t like to see red sores or blisters on your penis, let alone your partner. This is what brings most people to see the doctor, but you wouldn’t want to wait till then.

White Discharge

Not as common as the two symptoms above, but not pleasant either. It’s the same infamous discharge as that of vaginal yeast infections and oral thrush.

Burning Sensation

Another agonizing symptom you wouldn’t want to have. The same feeling you get when you pee, except this one persists as long as you have the yeast infection.

Nothing - The Worst Symptom

It’s actually very common to have no symptoms at all, until they suddenly emerge; and usually, it’s explosive.

Ask your partner if she’s had a yeast infection in the last few months, and consider having the yeast infection a possiblity if she did.

However, as long as you regularly engage in intercourse, we advise that you start taking prevention measures.

These are the symptoms of a yeast infection, but you may want to ask a doctor before you proceed to conclude that it is indeed Candidiasis, especially if it's your first time getting it.
